Jackson County DAC

DAC staff and service recipients try to stay busy within the building too. We provide pre-vocational service to provide facility-based work, which includes contracts to do simple assembly, packaging, shredding paper, and making maintenance cloths. When not participating in paid work activities, DAC provides training and skill building opportunities, educational opportunities on different jobs and skills necessary to procure those positions, and practice in communication such as interviewing or talking to a supervisor and proper work etiquette. All of these opportunities will aide in individuals gaining meaningful, community integrated work in the future.
