Direct Support Staff

DAC is now hiring Direct Support Professionals. DSPs provide direct care to individuals served by the DAC. This could be at our local worksite, within their homes, and/or job coaching in the community. DSPs create social opportunities and promote community involvement. Wage Range: $23.00 - $26.00 Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., M-F

Locations: Lakefield, MN in Administrative Offices of DAC

​

This position is at the administrative level and is responsible for managing individual program plans (including personalized care plans and outcomes for individuals served by the DAC). This position is responsible for attending and directing team meetings, DC reviews, staff oversight, training, & scheduling, as well as providing some direct care as needed. This position also provides oversight & approval of staff payroll and individual service hours.

 

Qualifications: At minimum, 50 hours of education and training related to human services/disabilities & four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services; or a diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution & three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services; or an associate degree in a field related to human services & two years of full-time work experience providing direct care, or a baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services & one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities.
